Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before booking or participating in an online consultation (“Service”) provided by Dr. Azam Badar Khan (Dr. Knee) through drkneedubai.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the online consultation service.

 

1. Purpose of the Online Consultation

The online consultation service enables patients to seek medical advice, preliminary guidance, follow-up discussions, and second opinions related to knee conditions, including osteoarthritis, injuries, arthroscopy, and knee replacement-related queries.

Online consultations do not replace physical examination or emergency care.

2. Eligibility

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You voluntarily seek consultation from Dr. Knee.
  • You will provide accurate and truthful information.
  • If booking for a minor or dependent, you are legally authorised.

3. Nature of Online Medical Advice

  • Online consultation is limited due to the absence of physical examination.
  • Advice is based only on the information you provide.
  • Diagnosis may not be guaranteed.
  • Certain prescriptions or surgical advice require physical evaluation.

4. Medical Emergency Disclaimer

This service must NOT be used for emergencies. Severe pain, swelling, trauma, or life-threatening issues require immediate hospital visit.

5. Patient Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate medical history and reports.
  • Follow instructions honestly.
  • You take responsibility for decisions based on online advice.

6. Payment & Fees

  • Fees must be paid online before booking.
  • Payments are non-refundable except when the doctor cancels.
  • No-show or delays may require additional payment.

7. Booking & Cancellation Policy

  • Late or missed appointments may be shortened or marked complete.

8. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • Technical failures

11. Follow-Up Appointments

  • Follow-ups may require additional fees.
  • Doctor may request an in-person visit.

12. Consent for Use of Reports & Images

  • You may upload X-rays, MRIs, and reports.
  • They are stored securely.
  • Not used for promotion without written consent.

13. No Doctor–Patient Relationship Guarantee

The consultation does not establish a long-term relationship.

14. Modification of Terms

Terms may be updated. Continued use means acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms follow UAE law. Disputes fall under UAE courts.
